Sony uses different cables and ports for different products, making it difficult to find a cable that fits and works. The cable that iShoppingDeals advertises for the E436F fits perfectly and charges and transfers music from my computer. WARNING: Sony uses lots of cables. Only buy a cable advertised for your specific model of Sony.

Maybe Sony should just license the Apple charging port and cable. Then Sony owners could plug their Sony into a Sony boombox...because a Sony boombox uses the Apple port!!!
