I bought this for my brother's player. when the data cable was hooked up to my computer, it wasn't recognized by my computer. we also tried it on another computer, which yielded the same results. it worked well as a charger though.

it works ok, im able to charge my cell just fine with this, however on the car charger there is nothing there to cancel out alternator whine, so if this is plugged in and charging while it is being used as an MP3 player through your car radio you get this lovley noise....

whhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

yeah... pretty annoying.
