Summary: Good For The Right Vehicle 2008-06-17
Comment: This transmitter works well for many vehicles. It is not so good for others.
It is designed for a vehicle with the cigarette lighter on the dashboard with nothing around it. For those vehicles, it works very well. The sound quality is very good.
I have taken this with me to try to use on a couple of vehicles other than my primary one and found that it is not very flexible. With vehicles that have the lighter near obstructions like the floorboard or others, it does not fit. The fixed base where the IPOD sits makes this very inflexible.
One would be much better with a transmitter with a more flexible design that works in a wider variety of cars.
