I purchased this item for connection to a TV, which has no Bluetooth.
The device works very well. The pairing with the headset is easy and had no issues. So far I never had to repair the headset.
Range: it works well without any problems up to 10-15 ft. From there it has occasional dropouts, but worked within this limitation even over two floors and 30+ ft distance.
No problems with lip synchronicity to speakers on the TV.

Only con: It does not play while charging and requires a proprietary USB cable.

I can recommend this item.
