I bought this little gadget for my K750i to play the mp3 collections in my car. The design is considered top notch, just plug it into the phone command port and it works immediately after the comfirmation of the transmission settings. The Walkman logo glows and blinks which is very cool especially during night time, it will definitely draws other drivers' attention if you mount your phone near the window.
But your satisfaction will immediately drop to the bottom after listening to the sound quality. The manual recommends to set the phone equalizer to normal and the volume output set to around 80% to ensure good quality transmission. But frankly speaking, this doesn't help much. The sound is ok at the mid range but the higher pitch area is very bad, which is like you're having a poor reception of your local FM radio station. Have tried with different position in the car and it's doesn't help since it has a 10 meter of reception range, so it's not the reception problem...Read more

What a fantastic idea!! What a complete letdown. The pulsating light is nice; kind of relaxing. I love how small and portable it is. I could not get this thing to work with any radio, especially my car. I live in a metro area, very few available channels. The sound quality was horrible, even after adjusting the setting like the manual recommends. My car antenna is in my back window, I don't know if that made it worse, but it sounds like constant static and even when you can hear the music it is pretty bad sound quality like it's coming from the other side of a tunnel. Don't waste your money. SONY PEEPS: (If you're reading -) REVAMP THIS THING!!! IT COULD BE THE COOLEST LITTLE GADGET EVER!

Didn't work at all. I live in Chicago, so there aren't too many available stations and it doesn't work at all. The only hope for this thing is in rural areas.
