Works but hard to remove,

This product is so inexpensive since it does not come with a USB cord. It works fine with Apple and other brand USB cords. The one main complaint is with how flush it fits in most car power outlets (cigarette liters). It fits so tight that it is hard to remove.
USB is the way to go for charging,

Fast charge, be careful as it get hot, and watch that you don't leave it in your rental car as I did. Much better than using the car charger with the cord.

Love the low profile. If you aren't a fan of bulky, this product is for you. Works with any usb powered charger and even works with an iPad.
