Summary: Works great, but this picture is incorrect 2009-08-05
Comment: I've owned two of these, and they actually work great. Well technically the first one was from Griffin, but it was virtually identical and apparently Scosche purchased the rights to the product at some point, made some very small changes, and started selling it under the Scosche name. The FM broadcaster works great and you can easily select any FM frequency on the dial. It stores 4 presets, so if you have a particular area you drive through where you have interference on one station, you can switch to another preset that doesn't have interference in that area.
The wireless remote also works great. All the features are there, including playlist control and functions such as random, repeat, next/prev. song, FF/REW, etc.. The only thing that doesn't work is the volume control if you're using the FM broadcaster. I believe the volume control works if you're just using speakers or headphones, but not when broadcasting. This isn't a big deal, but it would have been nice to have complete control from the remote.
The remote itself is very small and light, and easily fits in any pocket. I use this product in my car and typically just drive with the remote in my hand or in my shirt pocket. Unfortunately, sooner or later it's all but inevitable that the remote will take a trip through the laundry if you use it a lot, but miraculously it still works once it dries out. Just be sure to remote, clean, and dry the battery off so it doesn't rust or corrode.
The only problem with this product IMO, is that no equivalent product has been made for future generation Nanos or IPODs. Personally I know of no product that both transmits FM and has a wireless remote. You can have one or the other, but you can't have both. That really sucks, because not everybody wants to go to the trouble of tearing apart their car to install an IPOD adapter so they can control their IPOD from their car stereo, and only relatively modern stereos have an input for your MP3 player. Scosche does make a nice wireless remote that works with any IPOD, almost any generation, but it doesn't broadcast.
One last thing... don't lose your remote, because Scosche's support sucks big time. They refuse to sell a replacement remote if you lose it, they plainly state that your only option is to lay down another $70-$100 for a whole new unit if you lose or damage your $2 remote. Also, all of the marketing pictures for Scosche's NRF/NRFM/NRFT products are incorrect, including the picture here on this site since it was supplied by Scosche. They somehow managed to mix up the pictures of the remotes when they created their marketing materials for all of their products, and every product has the wrong remote pictured next to it. The remote pictured here is actually the remote for the NRFT product. The correct remote for the NRFM 2 product is taller, narrower, and has blue lettering below each of the buttons.

Summary: DO NOT TOUCH THIS ITEM 2008-12-28
Comment: I purchased this item a week ago and it is nothing but a big disapointment. I purchased it for controlling my bike speaker set attached to my ipod nano 2nd generation. The item's spec states that it fits ipod nano and that it has A 30 feet range - even "through walls". In reality it does not fit the Nano. I had to disassamble the unit and take out the inside from the fixture of the device and attach it to my Nano - still does not work properly - either does not respond, or shifts volume to either minimum or maximum after you touch it - in short - THIS IS A BAD PRODUCT AND I WASTED MY MONEY.
