After going through a few different FM trasmitters it was nice to finally find something that just worked. The quality is second to none although a little quiet and the ability to display the song and artist on my radio is great. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable FM transmitter.

I purchased two other brands of FM transmitter (not from Amazon)and they were horrible. They would not stay on station, always static. This one has been the best. Sound quality is good, certainly not equal to using a line input, but so far not static and have not had to change channels even though we live only 20 miles outside of Chicago. Screen is a little hard to see depending on where your lighter plug is. This same item was $50 more at one of the big box electronics stores.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great transmitter, crappy App, December 28, 2011

This is the best FM transmitter I have tried. It's strong enough to keep a clear signal to the radio, even in areas with lots of radio stations. It works with an iPhone app called Tunefreq and thats where the problem comes in. The app won't allow the iPhone to connect. Called tech support, said I needed to close all open apps, do a soft reboot and try again. Worked 25% of the time. So, every time I start my care I have to reboot my phone???? Not so much. They said product could be bad but I would have to send to them first. Just what I want to do, spend more money on a product that doesn't work as promised. So, don't expect a good experience with this unless you don't care about using the iPhone to scan for clear freqs etc.
