This review is from: Scosche Car FM Transmitter for iPod and MP3 Players (Electronics) This device is simple, elegant and just works. It's better than several others I've tried. Since the main unit plugs directly into 12 volt power in the car, there are no batteries to worry about. Even though it has only 4 FM frequencies, even in a busy metropolitan area (Denver) I can usually find a frequency on which it will work. The sound quality is good, not great. Having an auxiliary input jack on my car stereo would be the best solution, but since the car manufacturers are hopelessly behind the times, the is the next best thing. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Scosche Car FM Transmitter for iPod and MP3 Players (Electronics) The unit works as advertised. It does turn on instantly when it is plugged into the power socket in my car, which is not that case with the Belkin. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Many other brands will advertise that they can use the entire channel range to find a "clear" channel. However, within five minutes there tends to be interference, and you're having to change the channel again. As I previously mentioned, I have tried other brands. I have had several Belkin models, even a supposedly "higher" priced model, and within my commute from Detroit to Ann Arbor, I had to change the channel more than I did from Detroit to Washington D.C. I would highly recommend this product for people like...Read more |
