This review is from: NEW LCD CAR FM TRANSMITTER FOR MP3 iPod® ZUNE SANSA FUZE (Electronics)
Fast shipping on the product so 4 stars for the company. I previously had a IPOD NANO fm transmitter I paid about 15 bucks for but my NANO was stolen. I then purchased a Sansa Fuze 8gig player but my old nano Fm transmitter was not compatible. I never had a issue with my old nano transmitter etc.
I hooked this FM transmitter up to my new Fuze and it works. Its actually not a bad looking transmitter as well neat glow face to see in the dark etc. I am like heck of a Awesome deal!!!!
I am jamming out in my car and put the car in reverse out of my driveway as I hit the bump at the bottom of my driveway all sudden my awesome jamming out came to a halt as the sound through my car speakers quit. I pull back into my driveway and look at my Fuze the connector coming from the FM transmitter that plugs into the Fuze does not seat tightly.. So I wiggled it and bam music comes back through the speakers... I am like alright back in business.. Back up and take my bump...Read more

The connector to the stereo and the connector to the mp3 are loose, and causes it to go in and out. It kind of worked for 2 weeks then stopped working completely. I know it was cheap, but does that mean it doesn't have to work?
Excellent FM transmitter for my ipod Classic!, May 11, 2012

I've had this FM transmitter for 2 months and it still works great. I see bad reviews, and I have no idea how it can be so different from the one I got. Perhaps it depends on the area of transmission or what source of power you use for it? Or maybe the units themselves are hit and miss? Who knows, but I got a good one. I hardly hear any static and the sound quality is excellent. If anyone is having any static, are you using it with batteries? If so, then that is perhaps one of the reasons. I tried this both with batteries and plugged into the cigarette lighter. When I used it with batteries, I heard quite a bit of static even with fresh batteries. The static got worse as the batteries weakened. Though when I plug it into the cigarette lighter, virtually no static at all. The unit obviously gets the power it needs to work properly being plugged in.
One complaint I have about this unit is the wire that goes into the ipod is too short. I often want to pick up my...Read more
