Summary: Works good 2010-08-30
Comment: I purchased this after our state made a law that you could not hold a cell phone and talk while driving. It works good. My only issues is that if you use it and then park and go somewhere taking your phone with you, it will stay connected for quite a distance. When I go to work or I come home I have to make sure to turn it off as it will answer my phone for me. Also, it picks up quite a bit of background noise. I have to turn the radio off and silence the children before I can do voice commands or talk with someone (not sure if they are all like this). It connects super fast and, for the price, I feel it is a good purchase. Just a couple of drawbacks that do not impact my overall rating much.

Summary: Motorola T505 2010-08-27
Comment: The Motorola T505 does what it promises: It is easy to set up and use and the sound through the FM is very good. Plus, Amazon's price was almost 1/2 that of anyone else! I have a 100 mile daily commute that goes through Boston and I got the T505 so I can talk, drive, listen to podcasts and streaming audio with my Palm Pre Plus. The T505's capability to easily change FM presets is great because of the high radio station density in metro Boston. I can easily set it a one station north of the city and a second south of the city. The change over involves only two buttons.
The only problems I have is with the T505 are: In the Tip Oneil Tunnel there is a lot of static (This is warned about in the ad and manual), and, some callers have said that the road noise is a little loud which makes it difficult for them to hear me. This is why this device only got a 4 star rating. I would recommend including the same sound blocking technology that is in the bluetooth earphones. All in all, I am very happy with the Motorola T505 bluetooth speaker phone.

Summary: Simple - Quick - Works 2010-08-27
Comment: I never liked speakerphones and always thought I could "deal" with talking and holding the phone. Finally decided to give in and bought this unit based on the price and other reviews. Got it - Opened the box and charged the battery - Turned it on and it just plain worked exactly as it was supposed to. The voice prompts were great. It connected quickly to my phone and it quickly reconnects when I get back into the car. The unit does a great job of turning itself off if you leave it on and forget it when you leave the car. The range of the unit is great. Good enough that I've been in a restaurant when my phone rings and it's still connected to the unit in the car. No problem though with my iPhone 4 to just select the phone to answer instead.
The unit volume is a little low. If there is a lot of highway noise I'd recommend switching the volume to the radio to add more volume. Easy to do with this unit and with the voice prompts.
Overall a really good product for the price. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't need the caller id display on the phone. The audio announcement this unit provides is enough for me.

Comment: The product performs very well, but it would be nice to pick the radio station you want and the radio transmitter is a little weak.
