Saw this on a tech blog and because I have to carry a (work) BlackBerry and have an iPad, thought that it would be perfect for my jump bag. It's a bit pricy for what it really is but the novelty and utility mostly offsets the price.

"Off-spec"
The USB A plug is VERY tight in most USB ports. I can't unplug it from a device with just my fingers. The connector is square all the way around and uncrimped so I suspect the issue is the contact inside the plug. Using a micrometer, I measured the space between the top of the white contact and the interior face of the plug housing/shield at 1.83 mm. I measured the same dimension of an Apple USB cable, which has no trouble with insertion, at 2.13 mm. The stated USB.org spec for that dimension is 1.95 ± 0.05 mm. The
