FOR iPhone/iPod Touch LCD FM TRANSMITTER/CAR CHARGER

I have had several of these FM transmitters for my iPod in the past, and none of them worked very well. . . lots of static, had to change the station repeatedly, etc. I kept looking, and I wanted one that would charge the iPod simultaneously (so one that has a power adapter for the lighter). I live near a major metro area, so finding a free frequency is sometimes a challenge. But this item works really well. I can almost always leave it at 87.9, but occasionally if I get interference, I just hit the "up" button to the next frequency, and it works fine.

I wasn't sure what to think about this. Added to my Amazon wishlist for Christmas, before I read all of the nasty reviews. So far, so good. For a little more than a car charger at the apple store, this charges and transmits for my iphone 3G really well. I was scared to plug it in for the first time because of the other reviewer who said it broke their phone, but that fear was unfounded. My car has a pretty poor antenna, but I have found a frequency that does quite well even in the city. Overall, as long as it works, this product is phenomenal. Will edit this post if I run across any problems.

I bought this product despite bad reviews because of the 3 year warranty. This is the worst Ipod FM transmitter I have owned. Finding a clear station is not an issue however no matter what station I choose, there is horrible static. The static is so bad that I can't really use it.
