Not too big, not too small. This is the right mix of features and price for the Blade SR 120 fixed pitch hekicopter.

AA batteries fit a bit tight. All else OK

It really works great. I bought it for my 14 year old son who is very new to RC, however he understood the simple controls immediately. I am very pleased with this product since 1. it came with its own batteries 2. it had very simple controls and 3. it worked immediately. I would definitely recommend this item for anyone thinking about purchasing a cheap simple but good quality remote. if you are new to RC then this is definitely the remote for you.

Unfortunately, this TX does not come up to even the basic quality that a TX should. IMO if a company is going to sell RC planes and that radio signal is ALL we really have to keep our plane OURS (or in one piece)...then that TX should have a high level of dependability. I have lost a favorite plane and badly crashed two others that I spent great care in modding for better perfomance...BECAUSE OF THIS tx. Go on youtube and look up faulty Dx5e and you will see the issue. When it happened to me, I wondered if I was the only one(?) and found out I was not at all the only one. The dx5e works for a little while and then (some say it is the power switch but I think it is on the board)it starts dropping the signal. so-called 'Full Range DSM2 Technology' then becomes YOUR plane gone or bashed up on the ground. NOT because of outside interference...but because the radio is CRAP and once it begins the problem just gets worse quickly. I have 7 planes that are parked right now...until I can get...Read more
