I've had my Zune for a couple of months now and I was ready to have my music played through my stereo in my truck. I didn't see any reviews on this product so I thought I take a chance. Well that chance turned out to be BAD! I read all the instructions and tried every possible means of improving the sound but all I got was a sound like an old fashion transistor radio. As a matter of fact, it was worst than that. Also, there was a sound like a hard drive was spinning. The volume from this device was really low and I had to turn up my truck stereo way up just to get to a decent sound level but that only made the music sound worst. I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra with Infinity sound system and I know it wasn't my stereo. The other negative thing I found is the power plug adapter. It is very difficult to plug in and remove. This review is from: DLO TransDock Micro for Microsoft Zune (Electronics) I bought this for my zune HD because $80.00 for a car dock is a joke. This works great for me. It charges my zune perfectly. The sound quality is typical for a fm transmitter even though its not perfect. You do get a hiss sound but thats what Ive come to exspect from this type of transmitter. Whats great you can use the aux out to get rid of this. Even better the HD radio port is not blocked on the Zune HD so you can get a HD signal and listen to it in your car while it charges. Great feature. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: DLO TransDock Micro for Microsoft Zune (Electronics) My car has a aux jack in the armrest compartment, so I didn't bother with the fm transmitter feature and instead ran a wire to the dock's aux jack. I hooked everything up and tried it out. There was a very loud 'whine' noise. Resolved this by attaching a ground loop isolator to the line. |
