This review is from: Cygnett GrooveTrip II FM Transmitter with Memory Setting for iPod (Electronics) This Cygnett GrooveTrip is the best FM transmitter I've had any experience with. First, you can choose to have it transmit on any FM station and it can hold up to 4 favorite stations in it's reprogrammable memory. Second, it's compatible with any device, just plug it into the headphone jack. Third, it's tiny (maybe an inch wide by two inches long) and lasts for over 10 hours on two AAA batteries. Fourth, it has a good range; it will transmit ten to twenty feet. Fifth, the transition quality is excellent; usually I can't tell the difference between my mp3 player being hooked up directly via line in in my car vs. being transmitted through the radio in my girfriends car.
I am completely satisfied with this purchase for all the reasons stated above. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Cygnett GrooveTrip II FM Transmitter with Memory Setting for iPod (Electronics) First of all, this is advertised as a transmitter for iPods. But it works equally well on all MP3 players. I was leery of purchasing a transmitter that ran on batteries alone. But I was pleased to find that the batteries last for months. Without recessed keys, it turns on fairly easily if you're carrying it in a purse or pocket with other items. But it will turn off automatically after about 30 seconds when not in use. It's fast and easy to program. It has four station preset buttons for easy channel change while driving. The sound is wonderful, no static. Even when the radio picks up a weak station signal while driving, it continues to deliver great sound. I hadn't thought of it before purchasing, but it works just as well for in-home radios, too. No need to purchase special speakers for your MP3 player. Just find an empty station setting on your radio and you're good to go. The price is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this one. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By stine (Dallas, TX) - See all my reviews This review is from: Cygnett GrooveTrip II FM Transmitter with Memory Setting for iPod (Electronics) The GrooveTrip II FM transmitter came as part of the Cygnett TravelKit bundle for iPhones & iPods I purchased when just needing a car charger for my iPhone. The TravelKit was well priced @ $30 and the quality of the FM transmitter is the best I've yet to use. Good range, and clarity. Also, love the fact that I can program 4 stations. |
