I commute anywhere from 1h to 1 and 1/2h per day. I wanted something cheap that would play the music from my MP3 player and this does the job.
Pros: *Cheap (my last FM transmitter cost me $20
*has USB port. I haven't tried it yet, but i should be able to use my flash drive in the USB port.
*remote controller is cool.
*is able to stay plugged in with my erratic driving. (although you really have to really push it in to make sure that it doesn't fall out and reset while you're driving.)
Cons:
*plastic feels cheap like that used in knockoff toys. (but what do you expect for $5?)
*Cable to connect MP3 player is short and look poorly soldered.
*default station is 87.5; default station on my car is 87.7, so sometimes when i adjust it, it turns off and resets until i really push it in.
Overall this is worth what i paid for it and i'd pay for it again. Highly recommend.

Don't bother with this-you'll be disappointed. The unit functions only intermittently and when it does it only has a range that can be measured in inches.
It only cost $4.11 so I'm not going to bother returning it but I hope this will stop you from wasting your four bucks.

I did not received the mp3 on time, got lost in transit. The seller did send me another set.
It seems to be loose on the cigarette lighters socket. When moved slightly it looses its
channel and song settings and goes back to the beginning. The remote sometimes gets stuck and you really have to get right next to the mp3 to get it to work. Otherwise it works pretty good for the price. I would recommend it to others.
