Summary: Don't Waste Your Money 2008-07-11
Comment: This transmitter is absolutely unsatisfactory. I've tried it in both my vehicles on several different FM frequencies, and in every trial, the static/distortion ruined the sound quality. The noise intensified and waned as I drove around, but it was always there at a level that made the listening experience unsatisfactory.

Summary: GREAT BUT MEASURE! 2008-06-02
Comment: I ordered this for my Sansa player, needed an FM transmitter and this one had seemed to fit all my neeeds. I don't fault the vendor or the retailer for this one. It worked really well until I put my truck in drive! I have a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport and the location of the cigarette lighter is right next to gear shift. Sad because this worked pretty good for me out of the box.

I even switched to the alternate cigarette light but I could not reach the device even with a 12" extension. It would've made it very dangerous to try and drive and use attempt to even look at the player.

Otherwise when my wife used it in the side adapter for the two days we had it before we sent it back it worked pretty good. If i could have found someplace safe to plug it in I would still be using it.

Summary: Black all in one wireless FM Transmitter 2007-12-31
Comment: I purchased this transmitter for my son. He can use it in his car but the gear shift gets in the way of the screen. Other than that it is a good product. That is the only downside to the transmitter. He has a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer.
