Simply put, this thing doesn't work. I have another transmitter that works just fine (that I've had for 3 years) and comes in clear as a bell on a couple frequencies around here (the Twin Cities area). Not this thing. Attempts to make this work on those same ones and more were met with nothing but VERY faint music of what I was trying to play, louder static, and frustration. Thankfully I still have the receipt, as Target is getting this trainwreck back. Hopefully one of their competitors makes a better sounding product.

About a decade ago I bought an earlier version of this. It was a piece of crap: barely picked up any frequencies (I tried them all) and the only way to get anything but static was to physically hold the transmitter right in front of the radio. Not exactly safe while driving.

I bought this one thinking (stupidly) that maybe they'd improved in 10 years.

They hadn't. This one actually seems to be worse than its predecessor.

I'll be avoiding Belkin in the future, regardless of the product.

So, I bought mine a few days ago, and it just got here and I had to try it out. Now if it's brand new like mine was than it will be an easy set-up since it was Pre-set. It works for iPhone, iPod, and Zune, and ZuneHD really it works with any device with a standard head phone jack. The tuner was weird at first it got static but you need to tune your car's radio to the station on the FM Transmitter. And put the tuner peice in your dash up front. It works great. It saved me so much room in my car. I had upwards of 10 CD's in my car and now I have so much space. Have fun jamming out on the road!
