Cut through the static with ClearScan--your TuneCast will automatically (and quickly) scan the FM spectrum to find a clear frequency at the push of a button. Avoid the frustration of manually finding a clear FM station. When find a couple of favorites, store them with the two programmable preset buttons.
The TuneCast's high-contrast backlit display provides high visibility, and its small size offers flexibility in placement. The device is powered by your car's cigarette lighter/power outlet, and it charges your iPod while you enjoy your music.
The included PRO setting can make your music sound louder and fuller by decreasing the amount of attenuation in the audio signal. Professional FM stations use dynamic compression to make music louder and fuller while limiting distortion. You can use the three PRO settings on your TuneCast Auto to add dynamic compression to your audio, thereby optimizing audio and boosting volume.
The TuneCast Auto is compatible with iPod 4G, 5G, 6G; iPod mini; iPod nano 1G, 2G, 3G; iPod touch; and iPhone. What's in the Box TuneCast Auto with ClearScan for iPhone and iPod

Comment: This is the best broadcaster I've had. My husband has one which is stationary (doesn't have a cable, just mounts right to the outlet) and has a much stronger signal. But, this one is just fine for me, but I find I have to wrap the cord around the dash to get good reception. But like I said, it's the best I've had... I think this is the 5th I've tried.
The auto clearscan is a load of hooey, but it's pretty easy to change the station and get going again if you drive out of area.

Comment: just wanted to be able to flip to the station playing my tunes but everytime I flipped to it, there was static or a station tuned in. was hoping for a better transmission signal when it does come in.

Comment: This product is horrible. I have wasted too much time trying to make it work. I live in Charlotte, NC and travel in the Carolinas. Terrible reception, terrible product, very disappointing.

Comment: I have a somewhat unique situation. I have a German Iphone and Honda Pilot. I had troubles with the device because it wouldn't work when connected. I contacted Belkin and was told that it was completely compatible. Recently Apple updated their program for the phone. Without thinking one day I took it and hooked it up instead of my US version Itouch. It suddenly worked. I assume Apple made the adjustments with the program. But in the meantime I got an e-mail from Belkin telling me they were sorry for all the wrong information and that it would not work at all. There was no response as to what I was to do with this device if I was unable to use it. It seems to work good in airplane mode now.

Summary: Waste of money 2010-03-27
Comment: I bought this product thinking that if it was expensive then it must be quality. The reception is terrible with it. And after a few months it just doesn't work. So annoying.
