We purchased this charger so that we can have a spare one for our office (iphone 3GS). It is advertised for iphone 3G and ipod, the package says, but this part number works for iphone 3GS as well.

The converter (universal to 5V) is fairly large, but has rotating prongs, provides only 1 usb port for charging. The cable is standard usb to Apple product specific port, looks almost the same as the defacto Apple product, functions as intended.

For our conclusion, it works as we intended it to - strictly as a charger for iphone 3GS and seems to be good for the value.

I love this thing. I needed an iPhone/iPad charger for work but really wasn't looking forward to paying like 40 bucks for Apple's charger. Well this thing has been safely charging my iPhone and iPad for months now. I keep it in my work bag. It's sturdy and lasted awhile now. Loving this charger. If I need another one I'm just going to search my order history and buy the exact same one from the exact same listing.

I originally bought this Belkin wall charger at best buy and paid about $15 more there than I did off of amazon. I gave my first one to my girlfriend, she has the 3GS, so I wanted to get another one for myself I seen the Belkin one on amazon at a great price. Belkin makes great accessories for apple products, it also works with my cousins iPod. I highly recommend this product works great.
