Belkin Dual Charger with USB and Swivel-Plug AC Charger for iPod

Comment: I use this to charge an iPod Touch, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4. It works great, exactly as avertised. Note that it only comes with one charging cord for Apple products, so to charge two at once you need to use one of your own cords that came with the product. This wasn't big deal for me. I like that it doesn't use a "dock" for charging, because it eliminates any hassles with choosing the right case to fit the dock.

Comment: I had been looking for a ***rotating*** dual USB wall adapter/charger for my cell phone, which is finicky about charging and sometimes needs a dual cable (i.e. one of those with two "normal" USB male plugs at one end and a single "mini" USB plug at the other) to get enough power to actually charge at any reasonable rate. I had a non-rotating dual USB charger from another manufacturer but it was bulky and sometimes hard to fit into the often awkwardly placed or crowded outlets in a hotel room or airline lounge.

This one is great - with the ability to rotate 90 degrees you can plug in pretty much everywhere. I haven't yet found a socket it can't fit into. And, when I'm not using the dual cord, it's really nice to be able to use the two slots to charge any other TWO devices that work with USB charging.

I don't even own an iPod, but bought this just for the rotating-dual-USB design and I am very happy with it for that. I gave the iPod cable to a friend, and she uses it quite happily with a normal single USB wall adapter as a backup travel charger for her iPod. I don't know if she uses it to sync or not, but then "sync" wasn't listed in the product description...just "charge"...

Comment: My family has many ipods, and we had one older dock that didn't work with either my 4th gen nano or my daughter's 5th gen nano so every time we charged them, we used the computer which could be a hassle.
These are inexpensive and both nanos charge just fine on them so it's exactly what we needed.
I'm not sure about using it as a syncing cable, I've never tried that.

Comment: useful to have the two outlets and this is well made. its bit pricy. can get suitable products for less but ship costs are higher
