These items are totally compatible with all iPods with Video & Dock Connector; and all iPhones; and all iPads. They have no Firmware limitations. F8Z402 also includes a Rotary Charger, with DC 5V/1.0A Ouput Capacity and Folding Prongs.
To use item, you just need a TV/Monitor with RCA Stereo Audio Inputs (Red & White) and a RCA Video Composite Input (Yellow). You can also use it with a Stereo (for Audio) with RCA Stereo Audio Inputs (Red & White). And you must simply "Start" an Activity, there is no image displayed or Audio transmitted until you "Start" an activity, i.e., Start Slideshow, Play Audio, or Play Video.

The Belkin web site and the box implies the iPhone 4 isn't supported so I passed the first time around. Since the return would be easy at a local store I tried the 2nd time. Never used one of these before and it didn't seem to work on any of my devices. None of the devices listed on the box or web site match what I have.

But, you have to know that (apparently) the iPhone/iPod doesn't send any A/V signals out the dock connector unless you start playing something - music/video. Once I figured that out, ALL my devices work just fine.

Plus, it's a nicely made assembly.
