Summary: It Broke. 2008-01-07
Comment: The first time I used this wall charger, it did exactly what it was supposed to do, which was charge my iPod. Even though it doesn't seem relevant, I enjoyed the little blue light on the face of the unit. After using it, I unplugged the charger and set in on my desk. The second time I tried to plug in the charger, no lie, I noticed the electrical prongs from the charger itself were still in the wall outlet. Yep. When I unplugged the charger, the metal prongs broke off and stayed in the wall. It happened so easily that I didn't even notice it had broken until the next time I tried to use it. The most fun part about it was trying to find a useful rubber or plastic tool to pull the prongs out of the outlet. Yes it will charge your iPod. Yours may not break. Mine did. Luckily, Belkin seems to have pretty good customer service and warranties, so they are replacing the charger for free. All I have to do is pay to ship the defective unit to them :)
