Summary: Total waste 2009-01-05
Comment: The product does not work at all. I plugged it into the wall and came back 30 minutes later. Half full IPOD touch battery was dead. Tried car charger, would not stay connected and drained battery. So, I thought, the USB cord has to work right? Nope! It appears it does not transfer enough power to actually charge anything. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!

Summary: 1Amp max means the charger must output 1AMP - IMPORTANT 2008-12-29
Comment: A lot of people have done this and I've tried it with multiple deals - I would say before you buy a charger make sure it's a USB 5V charger with a max (I would recommend 1 Amp output.) If it does say this it will work. That's my experience.
Otherwise you just plug it in and it won't work. This happens with a lot of stuff other than ipods too!

Comment: I bought this item under the assumption that i could use it to play my ipod in my car but when i finally recieved the item, it turned out that it is just a charger. the part that mislead me was the "travel adapter" and the comment a person made that they could listen to the ipod and charge it. the chargers work but i will have to buy an actual adapter to use to play in my car.

Summary: Very cheaply made 2008-11-21
Comment: These are very cheaply made. I guess what could I expect for less than $5. The prongs on the wall adapter broke and slide in/out and don't work and the auto adapter has a tension issue and won't stay in the power port in the car. I won't buy this brand again. I will stick with my belkin adapters, at least they will stay in once piece.
